you use spoil victor against bosses, and spiteful spirit against mobs.

SS or SV?
i farm a lot using both skills, and i try to use spoil victor whenever i can, because i've noticed drops are better when you kill 1 at a time, like with SV. however, there are some farms where it is totally pointless to use SV (i.e. where there are a lot of enemies that die easily from AoE dmg. Luxon assassins, Corsairs, UW/FoW, Dragon mosses, etc.) however, i use SV almost everywhere else (usually i use Insidious Parasite with it.)
hope that helps.

yes, i personally find i get better drops killing 1 at a time with SV. i use SS when mobs are huge and killing them 1 by 1 will take forever.

I go with SS for nearly all farming applications and in PvP too, the problem I find with SV is the condition of hitting a foe with less health...
SS is unconditional and can be combined with other curse skills for major melee and enchanter hate.
I don't go with the drop thing, because with SV it takes u so much longer to farm the area than with SS... rather do 4 SS runs in the space of 1 SV run... But he is right about drops being better when u drop one foe at a time...

i stay with SS for farming t doesn't seem as tedious as SV... the belief that SV will get you more drops has already been proven false in the farming myth's thread... it seems like you get more in each run because the drops are set to how long you've been killing, but because you can do three times as many runs with SS - you get the same amount of loot - as you can see in the data
i collected useing both methods.
ultimately which one is best, is up to your personal prefrence. neither one actually proves to be beter then the other.

when you compare your drops per run, you have a screwed up perspective.. a SS run takes 2-3 minutes, a SV run takes 11 - so there is no equeal comparison between the two..... by baseing the data by the hour, we have a common element that will actually make comparisons valid.
so now that we have some responsibly collected, viable data what can we conclude? well i was told that it's only scaleible loots that is different so that's money, white and blue drops...
SS was 17 drops of money, SV was 10 - so SS wins by 7
SS and SV was 13 white drops, so their even here
Sv was 9 drops of blue, and SS was 4 - so SV wins by 5
considering that the law of averages is going to fluxuate all of these varibles up and down the longer the comparison is dragged out, the only conclusion we can make from all of this, is that over the course of time both systems are relitively equeal.
while it does seem that you get loot rewarded to you based on how much time you are spending on killing, instead of how many you kill - two guys doing the same run, each useing one or the other of the systems, for the same peroid of time are going to come out equeal.

Where's that thread, WildmouseX?
So you've seen that the AOE "bug" is very real, but the alternative is even slower.

i wouldn't exactly call it a bug... the system seems to be designed to regulate drops by how long you are in a map, instead of how many things that you hagve killed.... SV seems to have 3times the payout, because it takes you 3 times longer to get the kills - but because you can do the map 3 times in the same ammount of time, the loot equeals out.
here's the thread, sry i was away from this thread so long.
